CSP Solar has been heavily involved during the last decade in the renewable sector. There was a curtailment of new investment into solar energy when the FiT (Feed in Tariffs) altered however, the price of the panels has recently come down making large scale schemes viable again. Towards the end of 2012 CSP Solar gained planning permission for the second largest PV farm in the UK.
CSP Solar are well established company with a proven track record actively looking to invest in the right sites. We are currently submitting proposals for schemes that will deliver a further 100mw to the grid, in addition to amount already delivered this year. CSP Solar have plans to deliver an additional 200mw over the coming twenty-four months.
There is a global focus on Climate Change & Renewable Energy, with particular focus in the UK who are hosting the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference in November. Renewable Energy generation in the UK exceeded 40% for the first time in 2020 which is a significant milestone in the UK’s legally binding target to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
